Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out and especially to mine! Hope your day was filled with joy and fun. What's a special memory you have of your mom? Here are mine:
1. Fresh baked homemade chocolate chip cookies when I got home from school.
2. Handmade halloween costumes and costumes that we needed for school.
3. The best birthday cakes with whatever we wanted on them (mom would usually draw it herself!).
4. Taking me back-to-school shopping (mom would often use reverse-psychology to get me to pick out what she wanted).
5. Lots of love in our home :)

i loved your memories of your mom, maybe cause i have very similar ones! cookies, school shopping....and in jr. high my mom used to pick me up from school cause she knew how much i hated riding the bus home...something small at the time, and i always thought it was because she was "already running errands in town". But as i look back now i realize many times she went out of her way cause she wanted me to be happy. we definitely have great mom's!
