We went to Balboa park with my parents and Abby rode on the baby swing - she really liked it!








After that we walked through the Spanish Art Village and there was chalk out for people to draw with so Jamie and Grandma drew a bunch of things and Jamie layed down on the ground and Grandpa made an outline of him!






Finally, we went to the mini-train station and Jamie rode with Grandma and Grandpa. It was all fun but he had a heck of a time exiting the station thru the turnstile (he just wanted to make go round and round).

The kids seem to be getting bored with this apartment too (I sure am). So the other day while we were waiting for Grandma and Grandpa to get here, I got out a bunch of pots and pans and some utensils to play with. Jamie had a fun time making different things and telling me that the pan was "really, really hot" (just like I tell him). They both discovered how to bang and make a bunch of noise (yeah). Then Abby saw her reflection in the lid of one of the pans and she'd bend down really close and look at herself, and she'd try to touch her reflection with her finger - it was really cute. My mom and I went shopping at Horton Plaza on Sunday, while the guys checked out the waterfront and the maritime museum. Then we all met up at the mall for some Starbucks and then headed home on the trolley.

We had a lot of fun while Cam and Laura were here. Besides going to Legoland, we also went to the beach a few times, to the pool, and just hung out at the apartment too. At Mission Beach, I let Abby play in the sand for the first time. I thought she would try to eat it, but she didn't! She just thought it was really interesting and kept putting her hands and feet in it. Jamie had also been scared to go into the ocean, but Cam and Laura coaxed into it and he had a blast!
