Some cruise tidbits

My whole side of the family (my fam, my sister's fam, my parents, my brother Jon and his girlfiriend, and also my youngest brother) all went on a cruise two weeks ago.  We left from Ft. Lauderdale aboard the Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas (the largest cruise ship at the moment) and we stopped at the Bahamas and two Virgin Islands on our 7-night cruise.  We all had a lot of fun and soaked up plenty of sun!
This is Trisan growling like a lion.

He got his face painted in kids club, it was amazing to see how much he branched out!

Is formal really that bad?

Tristan sure thought so - we had to carry him all the way to the dining hall because he threw such a big fit over the dress clothes.

He was happy later that evening when we picked up from kids club and he had on his astronaut hat.

Chad walked to town while the kids and I hung out on the ship.

He met up with Charlie and they did some exploring.

The park cafe in Central Park - our favorite place for a bite to eat!

Chad takes a walk with Tristan around the boat.

The helo pad where they had yoga.

The kids club put on a skit for the parents to watch.  Tristan was very concerned the whole time.  He pretty much just played with his shirt and stared at the floor.

But he did stay on his circle as instructed.  We think that he was scared of the giant "meow-meow" behind him (puss'n'boots).

Kenzie did great though!

When we were done watching that we went to Rita's Cantina for margaritas and mexican food.  It was fun but not as great as the main dining hall.

We snuck out at one point to see the bigger kids put on the skit too.  You can see Jamie right behind Abby trying to be all tough and not participate!

Dad, mom, Carrie and Crystal did some dancing with Rita.

Next came the limbo, which dad decided to practice right behind mom!

Which apparently was quite funny!

oh yeah!

Tristan fell asleep more than once at dinner time - this was the second formal night.

Just a picture I poached while they were getting their portraits taken.
I have a whole 'nother camera full of photos and so does my sis so there will be more!
