We have no pictures from our first day on the cruise because we took a red-eye flight Saturday night and arrived in Florida at about 6:30 a.m. As you can imagine, no one slept much on the flight and to top it off we still had several hours until we could even board the cruise ship so we proceeded to find a few comfy chairs in baggage claim and hang out for a few hours until the rest of our party landed. And so, when we did finally board the ship we got some lunch and then took a much needed a nap for most of the afternoon. We did see a welcome show from the dreamworks characters and we did have a great dinner that night in the dining room. But we really didn't do much more than that, or if we did, I really can't remember because I was such a zombie. For more details on day #1 of our cruise, see my sister's blog:

And so, bright and early on day #2, we disembarked the ship in Nassau, Bahamas and went on an excursion to a privately owned island with a lagoon that we hung out at for most of the day. We did a lot of floating around and suntanning, plus Jon and Charlie took Jamie snorkeling for awhile. They fed us all lunch on the island as well, we all got BBQ chicken sandwiches which were quite good. My brother and mother both got a frozen mixed drink but seeing as how it still felt like 7 a.m. Pacific time, I didn't opt for one. Here are some pictures and a video from that day:
For more pictures (including some of the dolphin show that was next to us, and also some cute pictures of the kids on the boatride) see my sister's blogpost for this day:
