London - day 5

On day 5 of our trip, we got up, got ready to go, then decided to sleep some more because jet-lag was taking it's toll. In the afternoon we went to Greenwich. We took the light rail most of the way and then walked thru this under-river tunnel.
In Greenwich:
The Maritime museum, where once again we were not allowed to take pictures, but they did have Nelson's uniform jacket that he died in, complete with the bullet hole. He never married but he had a mistress for a long time, even had a daughter through her. The husband of the mistress even knew about, or at least looked the other way, isn't that weird?
The naval academy which was split in two down the middle so that the queen could get a better view out over the river. (We are standing next to the queen's house taking this picture).
The view from the Royal Observatory:

I am standing in both the Eastern and Western hemispheres!
Chad is standing over the Prime Meridian too.
Greenwich mean time:
The happy couple...
Afterwards we went to a pub, I even got strawberry beer!

Again with the Nelson Guy and seriously was the queen in a bad mood when she ordered them to build the building like that?

That is enough talk about not know who Nelson is... Well, it is easy to see who has a bit of culture and who does not....
