a long time ago...

in a galaxy far, far away...Okay it seems like it's been forever, at least, these pics are forever old. Anyways, last month we went to my cousin's housewarming party in Seattle and I got a video and some pictures of the kids playing on the ferry.

walking lessons...

at least it was only my sister sitting behind us...

self-portrait practice...

crazy Sydney...

why is her mouth still open?

How cute! I tried to get them to hold hands, but they wouldn't...

Abby liked looking out the window...

Just so you know, Jamie did get in trouble for that. Or at least, he had to say sorry and give Sydney a hug, because what the heck was I going to do in the middle of the ferry?!

Jamie tries to dress himself...

No need for explanation!

Play-doh fun: Jamie likes me to make 'nakes (snakes), then he likes to cut them up like hot-dogs. He also likes to take pieces and flatten them like pancakes. Another fun thing for him to do is make noodles with my garlic press. And of course he likes to mix all the colors together so all the nice colors I got him can turn into brown play-doh! (thank goodness they are only like $.50 a can!)

Here is Jamie singing the ABC's. The first time through he wanted to sing them like a monster.

meal time fun

Here's some pics of the kids eating yogurt for breakfast. They usually get plain whole milk yogurt flavored with a bit of pure maple syrup. Chad says his mom used to make him eat it plain - that's just gross if you ask me (actually Chad likes it, I doubt his mom "made" him). I tried to give to Abby like that once and she just puckered up and refused to eat anymore. Anyways, on with the photos...

Typical lunch time at our house:

Here's just me and Abby at dinner while Jamie and Chad were down at Fritz. I had the music on and every few seconds Abby would do a little dancin':

The way Jamie sees it - 10/15 to 11/17

Jamie talks about what he wants to do when da-da comes home:

Archive of previous Jamie-isms:
11/17
"Abby 'bember bwallow" (remember swallow)
Abby and Jamie and now both in booster seats at the table and apparently Jamie thought he needed to teach her how to eat.

11/13
"Abby dat not nice"
"Abby weave me wone"

10/30 (laying in bed with Jamie)
[Jamie] "you have shoes on?"
[me] "no"
[Jamie] "juss feet?"

10/25
"Apple juice feel Jamie better"

10/23
"Not tet-chup (ketcup), only bee-bup"
"Not yogrit(yogurt), only bee-bork"
(Even though he knows how to say these words pretty well now, he insists that we use the old pronounciation.)

10/17
[Jamie]"Dadda have toe-tee (goatee)"
[Chad] "Do you have a goatee?"
[Jamie]"No, wittle boys have chins"

10/15
"Jamie waff (laugh) wike dis 'ha, ha'. Jamie waff too hard." (talking about himself laughing at the movie he watched)
