First day of preschool

Tristan's first day of preschool was last Tuesday. He was pretty shy at first but he loves it. He didn't want me to leave him the first day until I explained that I was going to come back and pick him up! The next day after we walked Jamie and Abby to school, he pounded on the door of the van and said "my cool (school), my cool!". He only goes twice a week though so it wasn't his day to go but he was super excited again the next day. He doesn't need to bring a backpack to school but he insists on being just like big brother and sister!
Showing off his new dino shirt.

His beloved Thomas backpack :)

Our family loves this preschool!

Trying out the slide.

Checking out the toys.

He pretends to feed the fish!

Gotta wash those hands!

Tristan loves books.

Doing some dot art.

Puzzles!

Having a great time, I slipped out the door shortly after this!
When I pick him up he gets a chance to play on the outside playground, he loves to hang from the bar on the slide!

Saying goodbye for the day :)

First day of school 2012

Today was Abby's first day of Kindergarten. She said she was excited "but a little bit nervous".  I stayed up late last night finishing her outfit only to discover at about 1 a.m. that I had made the pants all wrong.  So she wore her shirt and kerchief with some shorts, which is probably a good thing since it is supposed to be 85 today.  I was doing so well(meaning I was okay with my only girl going off to school) when suddenly the teacher whisked them away before I even got a chance to give her a hug goodbye and I nearly burst into tears several times (okay, I'm holding back right now too!).  So anyways, here are her first day pictures, and Jamie's too from two days ago.
