Pumpkin carving

The week before Halloween we carved pumpkins with the kids. They all had fun but the funniest thing was that Tristan REFUSED to touch the inside of the pumpkin or even a seed if it was still slimy looking. He would just look at it, sneer (don't know where he learned THAT), and make the sound he uses to say garbage!

Disney on ice

On Nov 1st, Abby and I went to Everett to see Disney on Ice. I thought it was really cute, basically 3 princess stories - Princess and the Frog, Cinderella, and Rapunzel. Since it didn't get over until late, we got a free night at the Staybridge hotel with all the hotel points that Chad has accumulated.

First we ate dinner at the hotel.

Abby wore her new "party" dress and I even dressed up too.  This was our fancy night together.

I let her pick one souvenir - cotton candy & crown package! Not something that I would have put together, but who says cotton candy and crowns don't mix?

Pumpkin Patch

I volunteered to go on the pumpkin patch field trip with Abby's class.  It was a long day as it rained basically the whole time.  At least there was a smelly barn for the kids to play in with a hay maze and slide.  But alas, I survived and I Abby was glad I was there and now all the kids know "Abby's mom".

Blake Island guys trip

Chad took Jamie, Otto, and Isaac to Blake Island for 2 nights at the beginning of October (crazy huh?). I couldn't have pulled it off but Chad said it went pretty well!

Abby's Ballet class

This year Abby has been taking ballet/tap classes on Tuesdays.  Parents are only allowed to watch on certain days and only from outside the door (it's a really small studio).  So I finally got my chance and took a few photos, she looks so cute in her leotard and skirt!
