Coloring eggs

Everytime the kids get a chance to look thru our scrapbooks, they always ask me when we can color eggs again. They really get a kick out of it, so this year I bought them each their own egg coloring kit, Abby got a princess one and Jamie a Cars one. Abby was much more precise and made pretty beautiful eggs. Jamie, on the otherhand, mixed colors together and treated his eggs more like a science experiment. Which is "eggs-actly" why I bought them each their own kit...because girls color eggs way different than boys do! They had a great time, but when all was done, they didn't give a second thought as to what happened to their eggs, they got thrown away the very next day (because the ones we hid we stuffed with candy).

Abby

I found this post in my drafts section - I must've forgotten about it somehow. It is from about a year and a half ago (April 2010). It's really long but it's cute to see how young Abby looks in it.

Easter

Playing with cousins is always fun!

Tristan at 10 weeks

At 10 weeks, Tristan is now sleeping about 8-9 hours a night (most nights but not always). He loves to watch his brother and sister and adores it when they pay attention to him (provided they are gentle, which is not always the case). He's smiling more often, especially when you talk to him. He is most smiley in the morning when he wakes up. He is a fairly content baby, sometimes he'll take up to a 4-hour nap in his swing. There are nights when he's pretty fussy and sometimes gassy. I can't seem to figure out what causes this so we just deal with it when it happens, although I do try to stay away from spicy foods at the moment. And one more thing about Tristan: he is so darn cute (just take a look)!!! Photos taken April 9th.

pool time

Fun at the pool. Jamie is such a good swimmer, he doesn't even use a life-jacket anymore! Abby is still working on her confidence with her floater suit.
